The Southport New Comedian Of The Year 2017 - Sponsored by Nando's

The Southport Comedy Festival launch the 7th annual Southport New Comedian of the Year competition. For the fifth year running our friends at Nando’s are supporting this event.

Heats will take place in the run up to the festival at Bar45, Leicester Street, Southport. Heats are scheduled for Tuesdays on 19th and 26th September. The Final will be held at Vincents Hotel, Lord Street, Southport on Friday 13th October.

The winner will be selected by a panel of judges to win the coveted title of ‘Nando's New Comedian Of The Year’, in addition they will receive┬áNando’s vouchers.

This show is normally a sell out so this event will be one of the highlights of the festival.

The competition is open to all unrepresented comedians (do not have an agent), with not more than 24 months experience of performing before paying audiences.
